I am back with one of my original features inspired by Lila @ The Bookkeeper’s Secret and Reg @ She Latitude to put together outfits inspired by book covers.Usually I pick the cover based on my favorite books (old and new), under-hyped books that I want to feature a bit more on my blog or just regular beautiful covers.
SO let’s get started!

I don’t remember if I’ve talked about this book on my blog before. I read it really quickly and overall it’s a really cute contemporary. It’s about a very popular, though sometimes annoying girl, who is looking forward to introducing her college boyfriend to all her friends at Prom, since they don’t believe that she has one. However this college boyfriend thinks she only wants him to show him off so he dumps her right there in the parking lot. So in her distress she finds another guy there in the parking lot and convinces him to be her fill-in boyfriend. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how the story ends but it’s actually quite funny and sweet.
Fun fact: I read this book for one of the first readathons I ever participated in, Read-Your-Bookshelf-A-Thon Round 5 in May 2015.
When Gia Montgomery’s boyfriend, Bradley, dumps her in the parking lot of her high school prom, she has to think fast. After all, she’d been telling her friends about him for months now. This was supposed to be the night she proved he existed. So when she sees a cute guy waiting to pick up his sister, she enlists his help. The task is simple: be her fill-in boyfriend— two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies. After that, she can win back the real Bradley.
The problem is that days after prom, it’s not the real Bradley she’s thinking about, but the stand-in. The one whose name she doesn’t even know. But tracking him down doesn’t mean they’re done faking a relationship. Gia owes him a favor and his sister intends to see that he collects: his ex-girlfriend’s graduation party — three hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.
Just when Gia begins to wonder if she could turn her fake boyfriend into a real one, Bradley comes waltzing back into her life, exposing her lie, and threatening to destroy her friendships and her new-found relationship.
So that’s it for this post! Let me know what you think of the look and if you’ve read this book. If you haven’t, I hope you’ll give it a chance and when you do, make sure to let me know all your thoughts on it! Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you on my next post!
