The Actor Book Tag

the-actor-book-tag

Hello everyone!

It’s Saturday again and I’m doing another tag because I have a huge list that I still need to do and I have no other ideas for features! Anyway, Monique @ That Wild Soul tagged me to do the Actor Book Tag, so thank you so much! This one is actually a bit more complicated than the ones I’m used to since I kind of have to pick my own actors but we’ll see what happens.

RULES:

  1. Thank the person who tagged you
  2. Chose your own 8 actors (or you can use the ones I gave you) and create descriptions and compare them to book characters like I did
  3. Put in photos of them from the movie roll
  4. Answer what book character fits the same description as the movie character
  5. List 8 people to tag

SO let’s get started!

Gilmore Girls (WB) Season 1, 2000-2001 Episode: Love and War and Snow Airdate: December 14, 2000 Shown from left: Alexis Bledel (as Rory Gilmore), Lauren Graham (as Lorelai Gilmore)

Lauren Graham & Alexis Bledel/Lorelai & Rory — Favourite parent/child combo

Blue Lily, Lily Blue Cover

It’s very hard to find a good parent and child combo specially in the books that I read which are mainly YA which sucks because I think that’s one of the most important relationships a teen growing up needs to have. But I feel like Blue and Maura have a really unique dynamic. They get along well and they love and trust each other but there never comes a time when you feel like their relationship is skewed, Maura isn’t Blue’s friend, she’s her Mom and that’s clear.

pitch-perfect-beca

Anna Kendrick/Beca — A character that isn’t afraid to chase their dreams

And I Darken Cover

I know this may seem like a weird choice and that’s probably because of the word dreams. Lada isn’t a whimsical, starry eyed character who has dreams, she has goals. She’ll do anything and everything to make sure she gets what she wants even if she has to take it by force. And while I would never employ her tactics, they definitely manage to get her some things.

charmed

Holi Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano & Rose McGowan/Piper, Phoebe & Paige Halliwell — A kick ass trio

Ghostly Echoes Cover

I’m sure most people will pick Harry, Ron and Hermoine for this and I can’t say that I didn’t think about it but I wanted to be a little more original. This trio doesn’t come to fruition until the third book in the series but I think their dynamic is really great. You can tell they all care about each other and want the best for each other. They kick ass and take names together and that’s exactly what I’ve always loved about Charmed.

barney-stinson

Neil Patrick Harris/Barney Stinson — A character that doesn’t back down from a challenge

Heist Society Cover

Kat has one of those personalities that makes it seem like she’s worried about every challenge and obstacle but she ends up tackling them anyway. Like, she’ll fret the whole time and freak out about all the things that could go wrong and how they might not be able to pull it off, but when it comes down to finally getting things done, she’s there and ready and professional. She’s definitely not as crazy as Barney who takes on any and all dares and “can’ts” as challenges, but she loves them either way.

chandler-bing

Matthew Perry/Chandler Bing — A character who always cracks a joke

Ignite Me Cover

This is a no brainer. I haven’t read from his POV in a really long time but I could never forget how funny and charismatic Kenji is. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have loved this series as much as I did without him. He livens up the plot and the atmosphere of the story and is also such a good friend to Juliette and to the other characters. He’s a shining star in that series and I kind of wish he had his own, one to learn more about the world and two because I want to read some more of his jokes.

lana-parrilla-evil-queen

Lana Parrilla/The Evil Queen — A despicable villain

Fairest Cover

I am currently reading this book and I am particularly disturbed about Levana’s past. Like I honestly cannot wrap my head around the sick and twisted mentality that this girl now woman and queen in the Lunar Chronicles has. I’ve never read a villain so despicable in my reading life. I really have to commend the author for it because it’s insane what this girl has already done and all she’s capable of doing. It’s terrifying.

magic-mike

Channing Tatum/Mike — A character that is physically fit and attractive

The Score Cover

I mean… you’re welcome blogger friends. Who does not want to feast their eyes on this magnificent being all the time? (If you don’t, that’s totally fine too, I don’t judge.) Anyway, Dean is my boo. I love and adore him to death and if this cover is any indication, his fictional body would be freaking banging. As any athelete who has to work out a lot would have I’m sure but isn’t it nice to just imagine what that would be like in real life? No? It’s just me? Damn…

troy-bolton

Zac Efron/Troy Bolton — A (slightly) overrated high school heartthrob

Dead Girls Society Cover

No offense to Zac Efron, I absolutely loved High School Musical and still do to this day but Troy was definitely overrated. Young Zac was not that hot, sure he was cute but he wasn’t the best thing since sliced bread and I was just not feeling him (Nick Jonas is where it’s at). Anyway I recently read a book with the typical high school heartthrob character in it whose spot was totally blown because he really isn’t that great. Tristan was really annoying and completely fake and I’m glad he got what was coming to him.

I TAG:

Aimal @ Bookshelves & Paperbacks

Aldii @ Perfection In Books

Mari @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books

So that’s it for this tag! Thanks again to Monique for tagging me. THIS WAS THE HARDEST TAG OF MY LIFE. I don’t really pay attention to specific actors or actresses at all, so to have to come up with them as well as questions for them was really hard. But I think I did okay, let me know what you think in the comments! Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you on my next post!
