July ’20 Wrap Up

Hey ya’ll!

It’s a little later than I have been posting the last few months, but I’m still here! This past month wasn’t the greatest when it came to reading but there’s a lot of different reasons for that which I’m going to share right now. I am just super happy to be able to say I’ve been posting my wrap ups consistently at least haha. I hope you are all doing well and I can’t wait to see what you all have read in July.

SO let’s get started!

Personal Thoughts

July is usually one of my favorite months of the year. It’s my birthday month which makes it all the better and I tend to be able to go to beach and do fun summer things which are also my favorite. However, because of everything going on, this past month wasn’t the most epic celebration of my birth but that’s okay! I did have a lot of life changes and a lot of hustling going on this month which is another reason why I didn’t read as much as I wanted to. But August is gonna be a whole different story, just you wait and see!

Books I Read

  1. A Question of Holmes (Charlotte Holmes #4) by Brittany Cavallaro – This was definitely not the kind of ending that I expected to see from this series, but I am so glad I read it! I’ve been wanting to finish this series for the longest time and I got to re-read and then finally finish it. This is officially one of my favorite series of all time, even if this ending wasn’t what I assumed it would be. Definitely recommend if you haven’t given it a chance!

Challenges Update

  • Goodreads Reading Challenge – 47/50 (92%)
  • Read It While It’s Hot Challenge – 3/12
  • Finishing the Series Challenge – 5/12

So that’s it for this post! Thank you so much for reading! I have a little surprise coming up in the next few days so keep an eye out for that! I hope that I’ll be able to do the posts I’m planning on doing before my classes start again so wish me luck! Also, if you know me, please yell at me to work on them haha.

  1. I just recently read Clap When You Land and, despite it not meeting my expectations, it was a good read. And I really enjoyed This Savage Song! I hope they turn out to be good reads for you too! Happy August ❤

      • I think I mostly had high expectations!! The story was very beautiful and emotional, but unfortunately I had a hard time connecting with it. I was also enjoying my holidays and wasn’t reading much, which drove away my focus on the book, and that might have had its impact on my opinion :/ But it was a very entertaining read and I loved the unique writing style, so I do hope you enjoy it more than I did! 🙂
