February ’18 TBR – High Fantasy Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m here today to talk about my February TBR. I like to start the year off with my favorite genre every year but since I didn’t read a lot of the books I’d planned then I read them in January. So this month I’m back with my favorite genre, high fantasy. It’s a short month but I’m really excited to dive into some books I’ve been dying to read.

SO let’s get started!

January ’18 Wrap Up

Hello everyone!

Look! I’m here, for a wrap up, on time! I’m actually pretty proud of myself to have been able to keep up with one post a week at least. It hasn’t been easy honestly, but I have a lot of love for this blog and I want to do my best to continue to share my passion for books with you guys here. As for this post, I’m here to tell you everything I managed to read in the month of January.

SO let’s get started!

Top 10 Books of 2017

Hello everyone!

It’s that time of year where I talk about my favorite books of 2017. This year was much harder on my reading than I expected. I managed to surpass my original reading goal of 50 to reach my second goal which was 75 but I didn’t read that many 5 star books as I thought I did. Usually all of my top 10 choices are 5 star reads but this year I only had a total of 11 out of 75 and while I loved those books, I didn’t want to repeat series in my top 10 so I deviated from my regular format this year.

I will be sharing the books, their Goodreads link, my review if I have one and two sentences for why I love them.

SO let’s get started!

January ’18 TBR – Steampunk Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m still working on getting back into the swing of things. I totally skipped and forgot about my December TBR. The month was so crazy, I only read two books and neither one was part of the TBR I had planned anyway. I almost decided to discontinue doing themed TBRs this year but then I noticed that the theme I had for December was really good and I really wanted to do it so here we go again. I used to be able to prep TBRs for the entire year with themes and everything all ready, but as the year went on, I followed it less and less. So I decided that I’m sticking to my themes but I’ll make them month by month so I’m actually reading what I’m into during that time.

SO let’s get started!

November and December ’17 Wrap Up

So…

Hello everyone!

I feel like I don’t even know how to do this anymore. It’s been so long since I’ve really had the time to sit and write with care instead of just scrambling to get something a post done fast. I’ve missed blogging so, so much but it’s been one hell of a year. I’ve tried in the last few months to get back in it but every time, something got in my way. I took an involuntary hiatus since August I think. It definitely would’ve been better if I’d just accepted and let you guys know, but I really didn’t want to admit defeat. But December decided to chew me up and spit me out and the thing that I think can make me feel sane again is getting my butt back to this blog.

I’ve been gone so long that I don’t know if anyone is gonna be around to read anymore, but that’s how it felt the first time I started so it’s okay. I don’t know how consistent I’ll be, I’m going to do my best to share something once a week at least. What I post is probably going to change as well but I’ll talk about that soon.

For now, all I have to share is the books I managed to read in November and December of 2017.

SO let’s get started!

November ’17 TBR – Witches Theme

Hello everyone!

I am staying consistent! Look at that haha. Something that’s been super easy for me before is now extremely hard to do so I’m working on it. We’re almost two weeks into November but I still feel like it’s a good time to give you all the books that I’m hoping to read this month. To be honest, I haven’t been really following my themes as of late and I’m thinking about next year not having themes at all. I’m still not sure if I’m gonna do it yet but I also don’t know how well I’ll stick to the following TBR but might as well try!

SO let’s get started!

August, September & October ’17 Wrap Up

So…

Hello everyone!

Did you miss me? I really hope you did! If you hadn’t noticed, I’ve been gone awhile. And I’ve also made some posts here and there trying to come back, always saying that I’m working on trying to come back and honestly, it’s a lot harder than it seems. I am an adult now and I mean that in the most honest way. I now have a lot more responsibilities, all of them surrounding myself and my own well being and goodness is it hard to keep up.

I moved into an apartment with my best friend, I started college for the first time, I got myself a boyfriend (who takes up a shit ton of my free time, let me tell you) and I started working. So obviously, my reading suffered and because my reading suffered, so did blogging. I’ve missed it so much and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to post something at least once a week from this post on.

Now to my wrap up! I was in a reading slump for awhile there and didn’t really read that much but October has been looking up. I can’t wait to share with you guys what I’ve managed to read.

SO let’s get started!

T5W Aug. 2nd – Book Covers You’d Live In

Hello everyone!

Time for another Top 5 Wednesday. Top 5 Wednesday was created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey and is now hosted by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes and if you would like to join, here is the link for the Goodreads group with all the information.

This week’s topic is Top 5 Book Covers You’d Live In. I think this topic is so interesting and unique! I’d never really thought about book covers as a destination place, mostly I think about my favorites and which ones I think are prettier. But there are some great covers that show off the settings of books really well and those are the ones that I’ve picked today.

SO let’s get started!

July ’17 TBR – Travel Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m so sad guys! It’s already July and I didn’t have the chance to read any of the pirate books that I wanted to get to. However, this is my birthday month! So I want to be able to get as much reading done as possible. But I also just recently got a job so I’m just gonna do my best to get everything done haha. The travel in the theme this month refers to any kind. From road trips to time travel, any book where the characters move from one place to another within the story counts. I also got all these books from Goodreads so if any of them are wrong, please let me know in the comments!

SO let’s get started!

Monthly Obsessions #15

Hello everyone!

I’m here today to talk about my monthly obsessions. This month has been so busy! Honestly, so much so that I didn’t post for an entire week and I felt extremely ashamed of myself but I had literally no time to sit and write anything. I’ve been working my butt off as much as I can to get a job because I need it so blogging has been suffering a bit. I hope that as soon as I have a set schedule in life, that I can get a post writing schedule and have time to share my thoughts with you all as well as check out your posts again! Besides that, I didn’t share this theme last month and I think I’ll share double the obsessions with you all.

SO let’s get started!
