February ’18 TBR – High Fantasy Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m here today to talk about my February TBR. I like to start the year off with my favorite genre every year but since I didn’t read a lot of the books I’d planned then I read them in January. So this month I’m back with my favorite genre, high fantasy. It’s a short month but I’m really excited to dive into some books I’ve been dying to read.

SO let’s get started!

January ’18 TBR – Steampunk Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m still working on getting back into the swing of things. I totally skipped and forgot about my December TBR. The month was so crazy, I only read two books and neither one was part of the TBR I had planned anyway. I almost decided to discontinue doing themed TBRs this year but then I noticed that the theme I had for December was really good and I really wanted to do it so here we go again. I used to be able to prep TBRs for the entire year with themes and everything all ready, but as the year went on, I followed it less and less. So I decided that I’m sticking to my themes but I’ll make them month by month so I’m actually reading what I’m into during that time.

SO let’s get started!

November ’17 TBR – Witches Theme

Hello everyone!

I am staying consistent! Look at that haha. Something that’s been super easy for me before is now extremely hard to do so I’m working on it. We’re almost two weeks into November but I still feel like it’s a good time to give you all the books that I’m hoping to read this month. To be honest, I haven’t been really following my themes as of late and I’m thinking about next year not having themes at all. I’m still not sure if I’m gonna do it yet but I also don’t know how well I’ll stick to the following TBR but might as well try!

SO let’s get started!

July ’17 TBR – Travel Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m so sad guys! It’s already July and I didn’t have the chance to read any of the pirate books that I wanted to get to. However, this is my birthday month! So I want to be able to get as much reading done as possible. But I also just recently got a job so I’m just gonna do my best to get everything done haha. The travel in the theme this month refers to any kind. From road trips to time travel, any book where the characters move from one place to another within the story counts. I also got all these books from Goodreads so if any of them are wrong, please let me know in the comments!

SO let’s get started!

June ’17 TBR – Pirates Theme

Hello everyone!

I’ve been looking forward to this month for the longest time! Pirates are absolutely amazing and I love to read about them and watch them. So I decided to try and find as many pirate centric books as I could and make it into a theme for a month. I recently watched the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie too and it just got me extra pumped to dive into all the books I’m going to mention.

SO let’s get started!

May ’17 TBR – Mental Health Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m kind of nervous about this month. When I made this theme last year, I didn’t really think that’d I’d be struggling with my own mental health during this month. However, I’ve been wanting to read some of the books on this list for a really long time so I’m gonna give them a chance. I’ll also be able to get some library books if need be and I can always read some of the New Adult books that I didn’t get to last month to relax a bit.

SO let’s get started!

April ‘ 17 TBR – New Adult Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m really looking forward to this month! I’m a big fan of New Adult though I haven’t read it in a really long time. Considering how little I’ve been reading lately, I hope this month will help push me to read a bit more. These books are usually easy to read for me and I fly by them really fast, the last time I had a NA month I read 18 books so it looks like it might be a good month. I also hope to not be so busy, cross your fingers for me!

SO let’s get started!

March ’17 TBR – Historical Fiction Theme

tbr-march-17-logo

Hello everyone!

As you read this, I’m probably at the airport waiting to get on a plane to take me away from the place I’ve called home for the last four years. I can’t really tell you how that’s going to feel like right now, because I’m doing this a whole week before but I can tell you that at this moment I’m both really sad and really excited. I hope this change brings me a lot of new opportunities and I am planning on taking advantage of everything new that’s comes my way. If you’d like to stay up to date with my trip, you can probably see some updates on Twitter, so follow me :). Anyway, I’m here to talk about the books that I hope to read in March. All of these are very tentative because I have no idea how much time I’ll have to read but hopefully I get at least a few read.

SO let’s get started!

Hello everyone!

I am already so tired of this year and we’re only on February. It makes no sense whatsoever but that’s how I feel guys. So to hopefully combat this despair that is within me about like life, I stuff my TBRs full of books that I really want to read and that I want to talk about with all of you. Realistic Fiction is basically what I use so I can read contemporary but that doesn’t necessarily revolves around romance.
