July ’17 TBR – Travel Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m so sad guys! It’s already July and I didn’t have the chance to read any of the pirate books that I wanted to get to. However, this is my birthday month! So I want to be able to get as much reading done as possible. But I also just recently got a job so I’m just gonna do my best to get everything done haha. The travel in the theme this month refers to any kind. From road trips to time travel, any book where the characters move from one place to another within the story counts. I also got all these books from Goodreads so if any of them are wrong, please let me know in the comments!

SO let’s get started!

June ’17 TBR – Pirates Theme

Hello everyone!

I’ve been looking forward to this month for the longest time! Pirates are absolutely amazing and I love to read about them and watch them. So I decided to try and find as many pirate centric books as I could and make it into a theme for a month. I recently watched the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie too and it just got me extra pumped to dive into all the books I’m going to mention.

SO let’s get started!

May ’17 TBR – Mental Health Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m kind of nervous about this month. When I made this theme last year, I didn’t really think that’d I’d be struggling with my own mental health during this month. However, I’ve been wanting to read some of the books on this list for a really long time so I’m gonna give them a chance. I’ll also be able to get some library books if need be and I can always read some of the New Adult books that I didn’t get to last month to relax a bit.

SO let’s get started!

April ‘ 17 TBR – New Adult Theme

Hello everyone!

I’m really looking forward to this month! I’m a big fan of New Adult though I haven’t read it in a really long time. Considering how little I’ve been reading lately, I hope this month will help push me to read a bit more. These books are usually easy to read for me and I fly by them really fast, the last time I had a NA month I read 18 books so it looks like it might be a good month. I also hope to not be so busy, cross your fingers for me!

March ’17 TBR – Historical Fiction Theme

tbr-march-17-logo

Hello everyone!

As you read this, I’m probably at the airport waiting to get on a plane to take me away from the place I’ve called home for the last four years. I can’t really tell you how that’s going to feel like right now, because I’m doing this a whole week before but I can tell you that at this moment I’m both really sad and really excited. I hope this change brings me a lot of new opportunities and I am planning on taking advantage of everything new that’s comes my way. If you’d like to stay up to date with my trip, you can probably see some updates on Twitter, so follow me :). Anyway, I’m here to talk about the books that I hope to read in March. All of these are very tentative because I have no idea how much time I’ll have to read but hopefully I get at least a few read.

SO let’s get started!

tbr-february-17-logo

Hello everyone!

I am already so tired of this year and we’re only on February. It makes no sense whatsoever but that’s how I feel guys. So to hopefully combat this despair that is within me about like life, I stuff my TBRs full of books that I really want to read and that I want to talk about with all of you. Realistic Fiction is basically what I use so I can read contemporary but that doesn’t necessarily revolves around romance.

December ’16 TBR – Shape Shifters Theme

tbr-december-logo

Hello everyone!

One more month added to my urban fantasy and paranormal reads. I was originally going to read books about werewolves since I’m a huge fan of them but I realized that I also have a few books were characters shift into things that are not wolves that I also really want to read so I made it a more inclusive theme. On another note, IT’S FREAKING DECEMBER! How the hell did that happen guys? I’m super happy though since Christmas is my favorite holiday. I’m spending every single day in this month singing Christmas songs #noregrets.

SO let’s get started!

November ’16 TBR – Vampires Theme

tbr-november-logo

Hello everyone!

I’m using November and December to continue reading all those urban fantasy and paranormal books that I’ve had backlisted or series that I haven’t managed to finish yet. So November is all about Vampires and all the series that I started in middle school and high school that I never finished. I don’t know how I’m gonna feel about this series now that I’ve grown as a person and a reader but I’m willing to see what happens.

SO let’s get started!

October ’17 TBR – Horror Theme

tbr-october-logo

Hello everyone!

October is the month of Halloween so I’m pretty sure none of you are surprised with my choice of theme. I’ve done this quite a few times before, in 2014 my theme for October was creepy and in 2015 it was zombies, so I tend to pick scary themed books during this month. Even though I am the biggest scaredy cat to ever live and Halloween creeps me the fuck out and somehow I end up regretting my theme choices but not the books I read.

This year my friend Lauren @ Wonderless Reviews created a Halloween Read-A-Thon which will run from October 10th to October 31st, you can check out her announcement post here, and I decided to participate but I’ll be using this TBR to share the books I hope to read in the read-a-thon as well because they kind of inter lap. I’ll be adding a small addition to explain which books I’m reading for each challenge.

SO let’s get started!
